In our first lesson we explored using the photography studio in general and experimented by taking some random still life photos. My group attempted to make our photos 3D by adding a photo frame on top of the flowers and blanket that we were photographing. I found our first lesson helpful as I had only been in the photography studio once before and so had not had much experience.

Here are two of the better photos my group took:

I like the colours used in the photos as well as the 3D effect from the photo frame. The photos give a falling impression, as though someone has dropped them and then taking a photo. I also think it reminds me of horror films with the red black and white colour scheme.
